I was slightly bitten by my dog last April 12,2017.

I was slightly bitten by my dog last April 12,2017. I had been injected with anti tetanus and completed the doses for rabies. Yesterday, I was bitten again by my dog , is it required of me to be vaccinated again? Is my previous vaccination still effective? Thank you Doc

I was recently bit my my dachshund. He s up to date on all shots, and normally a sweet dog. He bit me badly though. I went to an urgent care doctor who gave me a tetanus shot and a prescription of antibiotics. The bite has healed almost completely, however, I recently began to develop a rash around the dog bite. It s itchy and a slightly inflamed. The bite occurred approximately 2 weeks ago. The rash showed up approximately 5 days ago, and is only surrounding the bite. Should I be concerned? What could this be?

I was bitten by a small dog. I treated it that day with hydrogen peroxide , and kept a close watch for infection, but there were no signs. It did bruise a surprising amount. Now, three weeks later, there is no pain, only slight discoloration, however there is a dense lump in the meat of my leg. It is not painful or warm, does not appear to be an abscess or infection. Just a lump. It is about 2 1/2 cm in diameter. Again, it is very dense, about the consistency of cartilage .

Hello I was bitten by a dog on my arm 5 days ago. No punctures, but rather a gash on top of my arm and scratches from it s teeth agains my skin. I went to a dr and he gave me a tetinus shot along with antibiotics and told me to keep it dry and clean with peroxide a couple of times per day. I had numbness from 5 minutes after and still do 5 days later. There is no suspicious redness or piss from the wound to point to infection and I was informed the numbness would go away in a few days. The bite didn t go as deep as muscular but the area appears to be bruising just now as my skin is slightly darker in that area which it was not until today. Do you think nerve damage is possible? No problems contractring muscles but I have zero sensation around the gash and a couple of deep scratches? Sorry for the long post.
