I was sitting down and swallowed my saliva and out

I was sitting down and swallowed my saliva and out of nowhere it felt really uncomfortable to pass my saliva, I thought I had something in my mouth so I spit out and it was nothing, I found out that my uvula bent forward and every time I swallow my saliva it’s very uncomfortable and I try to do it the least possible, again this happened out of nowhere and I have never experienced this before, I am 15 years old

Hi, I have had excess saliva in my mouth with a constant need for swallowing in the last 3 days. It makes me feel constantly nauseous and last night I had trouble sleeping when lying down. Will this go away on its own or do I need to see a doctor? Thanks
