I Was Diagnosed With Slight Bi Polar. The Meds Given

I was diagnosed with slight bi polar. The meds given to me makes me like a zombie. I'm also on morphine and oxycodone for break through pain. Is there a med I can take for my episodes that won't interact with pain meds? I am looking for something for breakout episodes and not long term daily meds. Lithium, valium, something along those lines that won't interact with pain meds
