I Want To Know About Stroke

I am a nurse myself, but a pediatric nurse, so I have never personally dealt with stroke patients (aside from nursing school). She was admitted into the ICU last night, and from what it sounds like (what my aunts say) she is intubated. Here are the questions I am already planning on asking... do you have any more suggestions? 1)What kind of stroke did she have (i.e. ischemic, hemmorhagic?) 2)Were there any signs of "old strokes" on the CT scan (she had been beginning to act strangely in the few weeks preceding)? Thanks in advance for your help.

There probably isnt alot more that you can ask until she is off the ventilator and then youll prob have plenty to ask. U prob wanna know why is she on ife support like did she have a heart attack? Is it her blood pressure? Is she on inotrope support...hope she is ok
