If  TMT is come abnormal, then you have to undergo angiogram and angioplasty, else slowly the heart wil get affected more and you might be at risk of heart attack and suden death.. follow your doctors advise, if in doubt consult other cardiologists to find out the correct line of treatment...but as far as I  know, all cardiologists will advise you ECHO, angiogram and possible angioplasty to relieve your symtoms and make sure that you live longer and better.

Hi, Murlidhar,
Thanks for the query. For every medical problem, it is difficult to advice only medicines. For procedures like Angioplasty, medicine cannot be an alternative every time. Your local doctor is the best judge and he must have evaluated you before his final advice.
Angioplasty is a safe procedure nowadays. It opens up your arteries and hence the symptoms will be minimized. You will be able to walk for a longer distance without much problem. It is not a major procedure and definitely not a surgery. You will be completely awake and will be knowing every thing during the procedure. Till that procedure, continue to take medicines prescribed to you. Many of the drugs you are now taking could be reducing burden on your heart. More than all these, please cheer up, you are in safe hands !.

Hello.Welcome to HCM forum. At your age And with difficulty in walking,it is not possible to treat you without angioplasty and also conservative measures take very long time which may eventually harm you and your heart more. These days angioplasty procedure has become very simple and is done without bothering the patient.Go ahead with your angioplasty and enjoy long life. Thanks and good luck.
