What Could Cause Pain In The Knee Behind The Knee Cap?
I turned a certain way and felt a pop in my knee, I have been in a lot of pain since (this happened about a week ago). the pain is in the knee behind the knee cap and on the inside or maybe I should say the side closest to the other knee. I know I need to get it x rayed but can u give me an idea what this may be, thank you barry
As first-line management, you can take analgesics like paracetamol or aceclofenac for pain relief. If symptoms persist better to consult an orthopaedic and plan for an MRI scan. We have to rule out possible causes like ligament sprain and tendon related problems.
Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
