I think my Husband may be having a heart attack, but it was indigestion

I think my Husband may be having a heart attack, but he won't listen to me? For 2 day he has been complaining of chest pain inthe middle of his chest, back pain between his shoulder blaids, and stomach pain. He claims that it keeps comming and going but, I don t believe that. He keeps rubbing his chest even when he says it dosen t hurt. Then last night he said that is jaw on the right site was feeling numb. I tried talking him into going to the hospital but, he won t listen. Before he started talking about he jaw I didn t think heart attack, because the pain isn t on the left side. He has been really tired. He takes like 3 naps during the day. My husband is only 27 but weighs over 400lbs. He s father died when he was 8 because of high blood pressure and heart problems that he didn t know he had. His father was only 38. He was also over weight. I don t want to to has to eplain to 4 young children why God took there father to heaven. Even if it s not a heart attack I know that he needs to been seen but, he won t listen to me. What can I do? He woke up hile I was posting the question on here. her read the first 3 responces and went to the er. Ran alot of test. Thankfully it wasn t his heart. He just had indigestion. Thabnk you all for answering my question. You helped out alot. I wish that i could pick each answer as best answer.

Give him 4 aspirin. It will greatly reduce the effects of the heart attack if he is having one.

We are in France at the moment so as our French is very limited you may be able to help me. My husband who is 71 had been very busy all day doing maintenance work on our house. We had our meal in the evening and afterwards as we sat watching TV he suddenly started shaking uncontrollably. This went on for some time and then when it calmed down a bit he decided to go to bed. He then began sweating quite badly although he said he felt cold. He also asked me to get him one of his Lanzoprazole as he had a pain in his chest which he put down to indigestion. As he also has problems eating now he tends to choke his way through most meals could this all be connected. The next morning after quite a good nights sleep he said he felt more or less back to normal. He has had a couple of restful days and seems fine. We are back home the weekend when I will get him a doctors appointment but in the meantime wondered what your thoughts are.

My husband survived the widow maker three years ago (age 49). He is very high strung, has anxiety and chest pain and is beginning to eat poorly. His pressure is up and cholesterol up by about 30 pts. He cannot seem to control his temper. I am afraid he is setting himself up for another heart attack. I guess my question is do you think there is any correlation to the heart attack and the personality change?

my friend is male, 58 yrs. Had a heart attack 3 yrs ago and had a bypass. He had a mild heart attack last month no bypass.Today at his check up his cardio. dr. said that he has an 80% blockage in 4 artries not counting the ones bypassed 3yrs ago. These blockages are in places where there is a 75% chance that an operation would kill him, according to the dr. The dr said that my friend is a walking time bomb, gave him 6-8 months and added that stress, strain, physcial exertion could cause it to happen quicker.I know diet and exercise are very important in keeping a healthy heart. Is there ANYTHING my friend can do except wait?

Hi, My father is 63 years old. 2 days back he suffered a chest pain for a long time when he was walking for quite sometimes. He did some chest examinations and after he was shown a cardiologist he told that apart from a blockage in heart there is a small miocadial infarction.
I don't stay with him and i really don't know what is the his health condition and what is the immediate doable for him.
He is fine now. Some medicines are given. I don't understand was it a heart attack because the doctor haven't told like that.
I stay in Bangalore and is in Kolkata. Pls suggest the immediate doable and places where treatments would be good.
