I take levothyroxine 100 mcd. once daily. The directions want it to be taken before breakfast . The advice also warns not to take calcium , iron, or antacids for four hours after taking the medication. I drink a high protein drink for breakfast most days and the drink contains calcium and iron. Can I take the dose at bedtime if I consume my evening meal prior to 7 pm will my meal be digested enough to be considered an empty stomach?

I want to know why i have been having headaches and a minor pain on my eyes for 3 days. I had a thyroidectomy surgery about 5 months ago and have been taking levothyroxine 88mcg and recently changed to 100mcg. I was wondering if that is what is causing my headaches. I did take Tylenol for the pain and nothing changed. I think it could be the weather change I am not sure

Hi I am 12 weeks pregnant and have hypothyroidism. I am currently on 100mg of levothyroxine and have a normal TSH level (3.31) but have a free T4 level of 1.4 (the standard is .9-1.4). I have been trying to get a doctor s appointment with a new endrocrinologist but no one seems to have any openings. Should I be taking 1 1/2 pills a day (150mg) of levothyroxine until I can get to the doctor? I don t want to have my levels cause brain abnormalities in the baby because my disease is currently going untreated. Any advice from now until my next appointment would be greatly appreciated!!
