I spent the weekend in the hospital with my dad,

I spent the weekend in the hospital with my dad, who was diagnosed with shingles and cellulitis on his face. Today, the left side of my face has gotten redder and redder and is burning and hot. Had a little dizzy spell , have a slight headache, and my ears are ringing louder than usual. I had chicken pox as a child, but could I have caught the shingles?

My 91 year old other-in-law was out with my brother in law this past weekend and he took her out and about and today (Friday) she started having difficulty breathing. When I took her to the doctor/hospital for a lung xray, she had developed pneumonia. Is it possible she got it this weekend? She has had a pneumonia shot.

Thank you. My dad lives near chase B.C and needs a family doctor as he has just had 3stints put in a month ago. He was told by his specialist to have a 1week check after leaving th hospital, and still hasn t. My brother goes to a dr. Bernard in Chase B.C and thats who my dad wants to see. he won t go to anyone else. Other than calling and requesting is there any thing else I can do to try to get him in. I m worried if the dr. Isn t taking new patients because my dad will just refuse to get a family doc then.

We did a very long mountainbike stage race over the weekend, after about 60 km s my partner started to lose strenght and also the ability to change gears and hold onto the handle bar properly, it took us a total of seven hours to complete stage one, on day two the ride was shorter but also took about four and a half hours, her condition was not improving so we decided against her doing day three. Due to time constraints her training was limited, do you think the time spent in the saddle and temperature could have attributed to the loss of power in her hands, we have seen a physio but the mobility has not fully returned? power
