I smashed my finger on the wood splitter yesterday afternoon. It immediately turned black and blue (ring finger of right hand-1st knuckle to tip). I iced it but was wondering why the tip feels cold and rock hard still today? Also today (day after) when I squeeze my hand it hurts down my arm? I didn't want to go to urgent care feeling that it's just a smashed finger and will get better in time but the arm pain (only when I make a fist) is making me think differently? Am I blowing it out of proportion?
