I Removed My Mirena IUD Two Days After Sex. Can I Get Pregnant ?

My LMP was 5/11/11, last intercourse 5/22/11, getting my Mirena IUD out 5/24/11. What are the chances I will become pregnant right away? I am 34 yo, with no significant PMH

Hello,
You said you are getting your mirena removed 2 days after the intercourse , near your ovulation days , the chances are very less as mirena prevents sperm travelling inside the uterine cavity. Sperm can live upto 7 days of ejaculate but in vagina it is very difficult for them to survive.To be on the safer side means 100% sure you should wait for a couple of days for its removal.If you want to continue with pregnancy then its a different story.
