What Should I Do To Reduce Shoulder Pain That Occurs While Leaning On The Arms Too Long?

I recently was leaning on my arm for about 3-5mins & didn’t that my shoulder compressed my vertebral artery when I got up it went numb for 5-8mins. It has a sore aching feeling that on a pain scale of 1-10, it’s a solid 3 doesn’t really hurt it’s more like a annoying ache that cones & goes what could this be & what should I do

The pain in the shoulder due to leaning on the arm can be due to overstretching of the capsule or the ligaments. Proper rest and a hot compress and application of local analgesic gel will help.
