I received a dog bite on my finger last Saturday

I received a dog bite on my finger last Saturday I have kept it clean and covered. It has been burning and I noticed today that is filling with pus around it. I am on antibiotics for a sinus infection. I thought being on antibiotics would stop any infection. I am not sure what to do next.

I was bitten by my dog on Saturday and received a Hematoma on my left forearm. I went to Urgent care and was treated. The swollen spot decreased greatly the first three days. Since I returned to work on Tuesday the swelling has not decreased and may have increased a little. I am on antibiotics and was told to put heat on it as much as possible. Should I be concerned?

hello, my son was bitten by our dog on his right ear 9 days ago. it was a single abrasion. i rushed him to the hospital on the day that he was bitten. he received 2 anti-rabies shots already. The dog is still active and can t be seen any signs that it has rabies. my question is, my son was scheduled last saturday for the 3rd shot but i was not able to bring him back to the doctor. is it still ok if he will receive the shot several days after the scheduled date ? thank you.

In 2004, I received a tiny dog bite that caused a blood infection which led to severe sepsis and amputation of four fingers and all ten toes. I had a hip replacement three years before that, and my right hip deteriorated and almost dislocated within three years of the toe amps. I can walk, but only 30-40 feet before my lower back seizes up and my legs just won t function. The pain is debilitating, but there s no when I sit. Is it likely that the TMAs have affected the muscles or spine in my lower back?
