ENT Specialist Dr. Ravinder Sharma's  Response
Dear Sir Hello i am Dr Ravinder Sharma Stuffy nose and sneezing can be because of a variety of the causes. Common causes iinclude allergic rhinitis and sinusitis. You will require a ENT consultation and a sinus X ray to look for the cause of your symproms. Once a diagnosis is reached we can think of the treatment options. Treatment can be medical or surgical depending on the severity of symptoms. i hope this answers your concern Do let me know if you have any other query with regards Ravinder Sharma

i am stuffed up, headache and when I blow my nose there is thick dark green mucus. I am short of breath, but I think thats because I am stuffed up. This has been going on for 5 days and Musinex has offered no relief. Is this just a cold virus that will pass on its own, or should I see my doctor?

Cough, dizziness, watery eyes, and stuffed nose I am 13, male, 135.6 pounds. My problem is that recently ive had a bad cough along with headaches, watery eyes, dizziness, and a stuffed nose. im not on any drugs. i was recently sick about 2 weeks ago, but since then, i feel normal. but all of a sudden, i got a bad cough. it then became headaches, and now, ive been dizzy all day. all these sypmtoms are currently happening. my family has a history of diabetes and cancer. my mom has cancer and my grandad has a bunch of other diseases including diabetes. my dad has glaucoma (sorry if i spelled it wrong) which is obviously an eye disease. my health teacher says it could be a nasal infection but that wouldnt make any sense, i dont think. but thats why i came to you doctor. oh, and i get medium exercise and i play videogames (mostly shooting)

Dear Dr, I am 30 years Male. I had productive cough in morning for last 2 months and I was suffering from sinusitis also. The sputum was green. Now the cough is gone and only sinusitis remains, no that much sputum. I done a chest x-ray last week which came normal. However doctor told a elevation in Diaphragm and enlagement of heart. What will be the reason of this?. Active Pulmonoray TB not there, but will it be Miliary TB symptom or Amoebic Liver Abscess or anything else?? Please advice me for the next step

About a month ago I heard a loud noise in my right ear and got dizzy. Then two weeks later I had upper respiratory and my right ear looked irritated. I was prescribed z pack. Then two weeks after that I felt I couldnt swallow, my skin on my neck was stretching, pressure in my face, and dizzy. I went back to the doctor and he said both ears were irritated and I probably had sinus infection, even though I had no mucus. He prescribed amoxicillin and advil congestion relief. The pressure in my head at times was uncomfortable to a point where I had to look in the mirror and make sure my face was not disformed. I went back a few days, even though the other symptoms went away and he ordered an MRI. All came back normal except for a maxillary mucus retention cyst in my right sinus. The doctor said it was very small and should not be causing all this. Last night I went to the er because, the pressure in my nose for the past two days makes me feel as if I am not able to breathe. My right ear and head are numb when I feel the pressure in my right nostril. No matter what I take no mucus or flem is coming out and I get panicky when I feel the pressure and numbness. I have to say the pressure is not as intense these past few days as it was last week but still uncomfortable and scary. The ER doctor just ordered claritin but when I called my doctor that said it would dry me up more and he gave me sudafed which I am now taking. also was on lexapro (2,5mg) for a few years and took a year or so to wean off it correctly. I have been off of it for over two months. Could this be related? I have an appointment with an ENT this week.
