I might be having a heart attack. I kinda felt a dull-ish pain in my upper chest, like almost to my neck

Please help I think I might be having a heart attack. Okay recently for the past few days I ve had this feeling where it feels like someone is lightly flicking me in the chest . Now, I kinda felt a dull-ish pain in my upper chest, like almost to my neck. The roof of my mouth hurt for a split second, and I can kinda feel something in my jaw. Am I having a heart attack? Or do you think it s heart problems ? I m only 14 and I m scared. If I tell my mom or dad they ll think I m overreacting. :[

You probably are not having a heart attack at your age It could be an abnormal rythym which can be normal in some people that you feel the "flicking". Pain radiates for several reasons, ensure you dont have a mouth/tooth/gum infection or you could be grinding your teeth at night as well. Heartburn is another possibility, try a TUMS and see if it relieves the discomfort You certainly could be having anxiety or panic attacks; many people have similar feelings during an attack Even if they think you are overreacting (perhaps you say this b/c you have a history of doing so) if you have dull pain, sharp or radiating pain, especially down left arm, the feeling of suffocation, like an elephant sitting on your chest or nausea, vomitting, dizziness, sweating, you need to tell your parents or seek medical assistance. Take care and good luck

So i have been having pain in my left arm since yesterday. I took an adderall and then an hour later took a vicodin for my knee (both prescribed medications) that s when i started feeling the arm pain, its like in my shoulder but now its going down my arm and feels like my arm is hot on the inside. Just this morning i started feeling lightheaded and the pain is still there kinda like a dull ache with a burning sensation. I also feel like im getting little electric shocks in my chest . My left leg has also started to hurt ( but that is the reason iam on vicodin in the first place for my left leg and knee and other areas but we wont get into that) Iam 24yrs old, i just had a baby 9 weeks ago and picked up smoking again 3 weeks ago, iam overweight by alot. My grandfather just passed away this saturday from a heart attack and my cousin who was only 28yrs old passed away on July 4th also from a heart attack. Should i be concerned??? Also Iam not a heavy eater. With my first son I had preclamspia which was caught to late and caused me to gain 130lbs. I also got preclamspia with this last pregnancy to which caused me to have an emergency c-section. In my car accident oi got hit on my left side and it affected the whole left side of my body which is why I was hesitant to go to the hospital in fear that it might only be a pinched nerve! Iam on the medication due to a very bad car accident, that left me with dislocated disc in my back, sugery on my wrist and a whole lot of other problems. I do not take the medication for recreational use.

Is this considered a heart attack symptom:: sharp and sudden pain on right side of upper back, just above shoulder blade, sweating, blood pressure raised. Pain subsided after lying down for about 30 minutes with ice pack. Seemed to have migrated somewhat to right side of chest and felt like heartburn. Several hours later all symptoms gone.

23 years male, 177cm, 66kg. for the last 3 months i have been having chest discomfort, dizzy, palpitations and fast heart rates (90-110 at rest), high blood pressure (24h monitor revealed 133/75mmHg, pulse pressure 58mm Hg, heart rate 86bpm - during sleep 126/63mmHg and heart rate 64bpm, it fluctuates between 50-84bpm), sometimes i have bluish/purpule lips and nails, sometimes i feel like my throat is closing or narrow. ekg was normal, echocardiogram did not reveal anything, and bike-stress test was ok (time 0= 145/85mmHg and 132bpm, reached 171bpm @ 175w in 8:17minutes - after 1st minute it went down to 150bpm, the second minute it went back up to 157, the 3rd minute 143, 4th 134, 5th 133bpm; my bp went up to 175/95mmHg, 3rd minute of rest it went back down to initial 150/85mmHg). i did not fell any pain or problems breathing, just a little lightheaded. i still get palpitations (at rest), my lips turn bluish at the corners, i feel slightlly faint or dizzy. i can run for 15 minutes(5 walk, 5 run, 5 really really fast run) and not have any discomfort (maybe a little dizzy or lightheaded). what can it be ? if i experience chest pain or discomfort, wouldn t exercising while i feel it make it worse ? i tried it twice and the discomfort went away. (still get that blue color on the side of my lips and purpule-ish nails). my dad had a heart attack when he was 45.

my friend is male, 58 yrs. Had a heart attack 3 yrs ago and had a bypass. He had a mild heart attack last month no bypass.Today at his check up his cardio. dr. said that he has an 80% blockage in 4 artries not counting the ones bypassed 3yrs ago. These blockages are in places where there is a 75% chance that an operation would kill him, according to the dr. The dr said that my friend is a walking time bomb, gave him 6-8 months and added that stress, strain, physcial exertion could cause it to happen quicker.I know diet and exercise are very important in keeping a healthy heart. Is there ANYTHING my friend can do except wait?

Hi, My father is 63 years old. 2 days back he suffered a chest pain for a long time when he was walking for quite sometimes. He did some chest examinations and after he was shown a cardiologist he told that apart from a blockage in heart there is a small miocadial infarction.
I don't stay with him and i really don't know what is the his health condition and what is the immediate doable for him.
He is fine now. Some medicines are given. I don't understand was it a heart attack because the doctor haven't told like that.
I stay in Bangalore and is in Kolkata. Pls suggest the immediate doable and places where treatments would be good.
