I may have had a mini seizure. did i just not get enough blood/oxygen in my brain ?

Okay so i just got up like 15 minutes ago. i went downstairs sat on a couch for about 10 minutes. got up to get some cereal but my vision got bright and i got dizzy (this happens sometimes for me when i get up really fast) i started for the kitchen when i just collapsed. i don t know what happened but after a few seconds i was fine. i didn t go unconscious, I just fell. This never happened to me and im wondering what happened ? did i just not get enough blood/oxygen in my brain ? also after i collapsed my left leg started convulsing. I just couldn t control my lower left part of my body and im worried i may have had a mini seizure

thanks for the query
well from the history you have given it looks like you have had a syncopal attack followed by a seizure mostly partial from your history, i would suggest you consult a doctor immediately goto the hospital get a ct scan done to rule out any pathology in the brain that could have caused this and also get your blood pressure level checked along with an EEG if it is available.do not worry even if it is seizure it can be controlled sing medications. take care.

44 years of age 206 pounds 5 11 tall high blood pressure Went to the hospital 6 months ago and was diagnosed with pancreatitis from drinking a lot alcohol, but was never given any help for the problem. I have no insurance and not a lot of money and my pancreas is starting to hurt every four days now, to the point I can’t eat four days on in or drink any water or anything for that matter. I have tried to stop drinking but the withdraws are too bad to the point I have mini seizers. The only time I stop drinking is when I am sick and the withdraws are still bad. YYYY@YYYY

Hi, I am a 43yr old female. I have had 2brain surgeries in the past 3years. The first to remove a meningioma behind my optic nerve. Tumor has not returned, but have some side effects from the surgery. The second surgery was this past June to treat trigeminal neuralgia. Surgeon found other issues in brain once inside. At the trigeminal nerves exit it was constricted by a y shaped vein scarred down to the nerve. It was dissected and removed. There was also a arterial loop scarred to a portion on the nerve. These adhesions had to be sharply incised and were able to move the blood vessel off the nerve. A sponge was placed over the nerve. My problem is that I continue to have massive face pain almost continuously and have been on different anti seizure drugs to control mini seizures. I am not doing well with side effects from medication. Is there anything else that can be done or am I going to be struggling with pain and drugs for the rest of my life?

During a session at the tattoo parlor i had a grand mal seizure where my eyes rolled into the back of my head and my leg muscles contracted and released twice. The whole episode lasted 20-30 secs. Immediately before I lost awareness my stomach felt empty and i felt light headed. I've had that feeling twice before over the last year and a half when I working out in the morning but did not have a loss of awareness or muscle control those times. I've had a headache for 3 days since and have had headaches 3-4 times a week for several weeks before it happened. The headaches are not severe, just a dull pain. Two uncles and my grand father had epilepsy but it was brought on by head trauma. Is it possible that it was a diabetic seizure since every time I have felt like that it during something that put stress on my body and I had little or nothing to eat? Or is it likely that it was epilepsy or something else? Should I hurry and get a appointment with my doctor?

My fiance has been on seizure medication since childhood about 2 years ago he had a Grand Mal Seizure and was hospitalized fo 5 days. His Neurologist continued his Phenobarb but uped the milgrams and started him on Vimpat. He is 49 good health and after his hospitalization took up playing racquetball again. He experiences I believe some form of blackouts which only last several minutes but I have to walk him around and then he is fine. His doctor said it wasn't neurological and sent us to a heart doctor who after all the tests said he was fine. What to do now. What is causing these symptoms and what can we do to correct it. He is about 5'11" around 198-200lbs.
