My doctor asked me to avoid sugar intake to have a normal delivery. Can avoiding sugar can really increase the chnace of normal delivery?? I m 32 weeks pregnant .

If you have Gestational Diabetes , having sugar can increase glucose levels and so cause changes in pregnancy.This could be the reason for your Doctor to advise on cutting sugar intake.
Good sugar control in Diabetic mothers is a main factor to decide the mode of delivery and health of baby.
