I m 13 weeks pregnant & green diarrhoea

On saturday evening I went out to eat at a restaurant, and woke up in the middle of the night to constant green diarrhoea. assumed it was food poisining because I felt better the next morning. Now it s monday and I m still experiencing green stool. I m 13 weeks pregnant and really worried! Some are saying it s normal during pregnancy, and not to bother going to the doctor ? I also feel very thirsty. like no matter how much I drink it isn t quenching my thirst. This is my first pregnancy so I am worrying about everything! Help please ?

viral infection can change the stool color to dark green color. so it may be gi infection.
if you take food rich in green leafy vegetables like spinach it can also cause green stool
if you are taking iron tabs it can also cause green stool. other cause like malabsorption,sugar diet also cause it
so wait for 2 to 3 days if it still persists you can consult the physician

hi and welcome to healthcare magic,
the thirst maybe physiological and even being more hungry is normal but the green stool needs investigation, so consult a doctor get a stool microscopy test and culture done just to be sure and if it is an infection do take appropriate antibiotics which is not contraindicated in pregnancy after consulting your gynaecologist.
