What Could Be The Cause For Excessive Sweating, Blurred Vision, Nausea And Hearing Loss In An Elderly Woman?

I just had a strange episode. I had just sat down in my recliner and suddenly began to sweat, I was very dizzy, blurred vision, nausea, and hearing loss in my right ear. The episode lasted 3-5 minutes and symptoms slowly subsided. I am a 55 year old female, post-menopausal.

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hello,

Because this was an isolated episode, very likely it is nothing to worry. On the other hand, a general check including a neurological exam and some blood tests, if you have not had one in the last year, may be advisable.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Antoneta Zotaj, General & Family Physician
