How Can A White Patch On The Inner Thigh Be Treated?

I have whitish powder type skin on my left inner thigh right next to my vulva but not on the vulva, it is also slightly red like a paper cut! It is only one small patch and is causing little pain while wearing pants and walking, when I put water also it hurts! It’s is invisible but on closer look it looks like red small vein underneath the skin. I have been using normal shower gel a lot recently and also had my period where I wore pads! I am in London and it is dry weather, and have been wearing tight jeans and jumpers. I don’t know what has caused this and google is showing me scary things

Dermatologist 's  Response
Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service.
I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

1. Maintain good hygiene and bath twice daily.
2. Apply an antifungal cream like clotrimazole cream twice daily on it.
3. Take an antihistamine medication like levocetrizine twice daily for 7-10 days.
4. Other treatment options are oral fluconazole, itraconazole and terbinafine taken only after consulting a dermatologist.

Thanks.
