Hi,

It's important to note that while heartburn is a common condition, persistent or severe symptoms should always be evaluated by a healthcare professional to rule out any potential underlying conditions.

In the meantime, there are a few things you can try to alleviate your symptoms and get some rest:
1. Elevate your head while sleeping: Using a few pillows or a wedge pillow to elevate your head while sleeping can help prevent stomach acid from flowing back into your esophagus, which can worsen heartburn symptoms.
2. Avoid trigger foods: Certain foods and drinks, such as fatty or spicy foods, caffeine, and alcohol, can trigger or worsen heartburn symptoms. Try to avoid these foods until your symptoms improve.
3. Stay hydrated: Drinking plenty of water can help neutralize stomach acid and prevent dehydration, which can exacerbate heartburn symptoms.
4. Try over-the-counter antacids: Antacids such as Tums or Rolaids can help neutralize stomach acid and provide temporary relief from heartburn symptoms.
5. Consider seeing a healthcare professional: If your symptoms persist or worsen despite these measures, it's important to consult with a healthcare professional for further evaluation and treatment options.

I hope these suggestions help provide some relief, but please remember to seek medical attention if your symptoms persist or worsen.

Take care. Hope I have answered your question. Let me know if I can assist you further.
