I have two herniated disks and take advil for it

I have two herniated disks and take advil for it usually 400 mg twice a day. I ran into a friend who recommend I try taking "Pure Turmeric Curcumin with black pepper extract 750 mg extra strength. I just saw where it may interact with blood pressure meds. I take 10 mg of lisinipril once a day. Would this be harmful to try?

I suffer the effects of a herniated disk from 4 years ago., including daily pain, stiffness , soreness, stabbing and dull pain and weakness in my left leg and foot. Consistently I have noticed that when I visit the Colorado Springs area that on day two I no longer need pain medication, even after plane trip, hauling luggage, etc. it s as if the high altitude lessens the pain. What is your opinion.

I have been taking 3 to 4 tramadol a day for a couple of years now for my herniated disks and arthritis. My doctor s office now demands that I come in every 30 days, pay a co-pay in order to get my prescription filled. They tried to say it is federal law but I cannot find anything in the recent DEA regulations that state that I must be seen by my physician every 30 days; just that I need a separate prescription for each time it is filled. What is the truth? Are the people in my doctor s office just trying to get more money out people like my and my insurance company?
