I Have Stopped Breastfeeding But Still Lactating
hi doc i m 26 yrs female. I have 2.5 yrs baby girl n frm 5-6 month i completely stopped breast feeding her. Now i think i m still lactating n i want to know should i take some medication to stop lacteting or it stopped naturaly...plz reply...

Good afternoon.
Your condition is called GALACTORRHOEA. Little secretion of milk is acceptable following delivery of baby for 2-3 yrs and it is quite natural.
If milk secretion is not too much,it is insignificant. Don't be much worried.
Either you can test blood prolaction level and consult with your gynecologist for supportive treatment.
