I Have Small Sore Knot In The Neck. What Is It ?
hAVE A SMALL KNOT IN THE SIDE OF NECK AND IT FEELS SORE TO THE TOUCH, i HAVE A SMALL AREA IN THE SIDE OF MY NECK THAT FEELS LIKE A BRUISE, AND UNDERNEATH THE SKIN IT IS A SMALL SOFT KNOT. wHAT COULD THIS BE? Also there is a burning sensation in the area as well.

In all likely hood it must be an enlarged lymph node. The cause for this may be from simple dandruff to other more serious causes.
Best approach would be to consult a surgeon, and let him examine the area and do other relevant tests and if indicated excision biopsy or fine needle aspiration of the knot, to find out the cause and treat accordingly.
