I Have Red Spots In My Back Of Throat, How To Get Rid Of It ?

back of throat has about 6 little red spots and it only hurts when i swallow food and liquid. it almost seems that water hurts worst. this just started this morning. what do you think it is.

Hi Aclee,

The description given by you can be granular pharyngitis, this is swollen lymphoid follicles secondary to the underlying infection. Drink plenty of warm water and do throat gargles with povidone iodine mouth gargles and you can also take anti-inflammatory like Ibuprofen. If the symptoms persist you will have to consult your ENT specialist.
