I have pimples with dry skin and i am taking medicines for it but they are not helpful. What should i do ?

hi. my age is 17, nd i have pimples+acne+too much dry skin . i used my doctor advice and m using DAYMAC (clindamycin phosphate) gel, skinoren (azelaic acid) cream andazirom ( azithromycin) tablets. but my pimples nd acne remains same.. m very worried. plz for God sake help me:(

Thanks for the query, Pimples are a very common problem in your age. there is a definitive treatment for acne vulgaris and its Vit a therapy. It has a lot of side effects and should be only taken under suprevision of a registered doctor. Meet your dermatologist and ask for it. Have a healthy living

Hi welcome to HealthcareMagic

In teenage , pimples are common problem... because there will be surge of steroid hormones, which will increase the production of fat synthesis in the skin... solution is frequent face washing, every 4 hours once.. do not prick or manipulate the pimple with your fingers, it will add infection to it... the above given antibiotics are good, you can continue the same... Not to worry much...Hope i have answered your question...
