Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

The glenoid capsule is present in the shoulder joint that holds the arm bone in place. A tear and degenerative changes will make it weak and cause decreased stability of the joint thus causing pain.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Regards,
Dr. Praveen Tayal, Orthopaedic Surgeon
