I Have Low Pulse High BP . What Is The Actual Problem ?
i have a typical problem. my pulse rate is 52. when i go to doctor to measure BP or get my medical check up done my pulse goes up to 60-70 and the blood pressure 170/90. i do feel the sudden heart pounding and feel very relaxed when the check up is done. what is my actual BP ? what is the actual problem? what remedy you can give me?
I Have the same problem, what could it be ?
i may add that im a diabetic my hba1c is 6.7 and im working out in a gym 3 days a week. my weight is 154 pound and my height is 6 feet so im kinda skinny :), so i do think i need to have high BP or somthing cause im always testing it at home and its always around 110-125/80-82 but when im at the clinic i feel strange my heart starts beating fast and i get around 140-150/90, so what is the problem.

Hi,
Welcome to HCM.
Some people naturally have low pulse rate while athletes develop low pulse rate by their vigorous exercise.
Anxiety is known to increase the heart rate as well shoot up the blood pressure.
You should not get the blood pressure (BP) checked immediately after reaching the clinic or hospital but should relax for at least 30 minutes before your BP is measured and that too not soon after heavy meals. BP should be recorded both in lying down position as well as standing position and this has to be done on three different occasions and if all the readings indicate high BP, then you need to start medication.
You have not mentioned your age. If you are less than 45 years old, you need to get your renal function tests to be done to exclude kidney problem, which may also give rise to high BP.
You think thats bad?! I HAVE A PULSE OF SOMEWHERE BETWEEN 5 AND 20 (ZERO IN MY HANDS AND FEET) AND WHEN I PEEL OF A SCAB, NO BLOOD COMES OUT! ps: you do not have to say what the ****, I know.
