I Have Heart Palpitation And I Am Skipping My Heart Beat

Heart palpations What are some causes? Lately, I have had heart palpitations. I told my doctor and he seemed to ignore what I said completely. Are these normal? This is what it feels like: I am just sitting there and I feel my heart skips a beat and then pumps harder to make up for it

Sounds like a premature ventricular contraction, or PVC. These are very common, and are absolutely nothing to worry about. They won't cause any problem and won't cause your heart to go into arrhythmia. It's probably not necessary, but if you're still worried, you can ask your doctor for an EKG to analyze the rhythm of your heart. To read more, see the wikipedia article below.
