I have had mononucleosis symptoms for about 17 days and my bloodwork confirmed that I indeed have it. My right lymph node (gland) has been particular swollen since day one and the ulcer inside my mouth of the right lymph appears to be healed, the left side (my left lymph has not swollen significantly yet) just days ago starting hurting when swallowing (throat and ear) and today I have been having headaches, photophobia and a fever all day and just now I've noticed that my right lymph is marginally smaller (just like it was before my left side acted up). Does this mean that my fever is doing a good job combatting the virus? My forehead is pulsating slowly and only noticeable by the touch. I am normally intolerant of warm weather but with this fever I feel even less comfortable in 73F tempature than I'd normally feel in 80F, should I tough out the heat like I do when I take a hot shower? Or lower the temperature and put more cloathes on (my feet are cold and sometimes my whole body feels cold while my head still feels uncomfortably warm) I cannot tell weather the headaches are brought on by heat or using my eyes too much (they feel rather "raw" in the white areas like the light is burning them but I have no redness), my doctor called earlier today to say my liver is big and I am producing a lot of enzymes. I am 19 + 5/8 years old, male, skinny, 0%body fat, and normally highly immune to illness; especially bacterial. Maybe you could suggest some liquids to drink? I've been drinking milk because it's soothing, water hurts a little but I'm drinking 2 16.9oz bottles every 3 hours (on average while I'm awake) and maybe 10 oz per 3hours of sleeping; apple juice seems to sting a little, I'm going to try cream of wheat in the morning, I hate vegetable juice (I tried some mix berry naked juice and it's so horrible I couldn't drink it)
