I Have Had Hypothyroidism For Over 30 Years, My Medicine

I have had hypothyroidism for over 30 years, my medicine has been the same for several years, I ran out of medicine about a month ago but still took some of a lower strength. My level was 14 when it started, I had labs done a week ago. The level was 332.02. I have a new doctor now and she sent RX at the same strength I was on and said repete lab in 8 weeks. I have many issues for ex. Fatigue, weight gain +10 pounds in 4wks, and many other symptoms. I don't think I can go on for 8 weeks, is this the correct protocol?
