What Could Be The Cause For Frequent Stomach Pain?

I have had a pain in the right side of my stomach just above the belt line for the past year. it comes and goes but I am concerned it might be a tum or? I asked my primary doctor about it during my annual physical last year but he said it was probably just a muscle pull? I still have it a year later.

General Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

* Usually a muscle pull does not last for a year or so.
* There can be a possible issue with intestine, ureter or other intra abdomen organs and the same require details of history, physical examination and relevant evaluation with the ultrasound of the abdomen & pelvis to confirm the underlying possible cause and further care.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.

Take care

Regards,
Dr Bhagyesh V. Patel, General Surgeon
