Hello, I am a 20 year old female and I suffer from anxiety and hashimotos disease. I cannot see at night while driving and my eye doctor said it is unrelated to my vision. I was wondering what could cause this. I get anxiety for no apparent reason and when I am tired my legs feel like jello. I get hot extremely easy and am sensitive to caffeine. (It increases my anxiety immensely)

my daughter was recently diagnosed with Hashimoto disease. She was on levyothyroxine 50 MCG which she was taken off one month ago. The past few days she has been having a lot of anxiety and she says sometimes it is hard to breath as she feels her throat is going to close. She has contacted her doctor but the doctor will not be in until Friday. My daughter s behavior is clearly upset, she is pacing and continuously says she is filled with anxiety and cannot hold still. Not certain what to do as I have never seen this behavior in her. She is 21 years old

I was diagnosed with Graves disease 12 years ago. After 5-6 years on medication, everything leveled out and I didn t need medication for the past 5 years. Now I have been diagnosed with Hashimotos and have been prescribed Synthroid. I m not liking the idea of being on medication for the rest of my life - is there another option? Also, is there a difference between Synthroid and generic? I prefer something made in the US - I have issues with medication being produced in another country, as I don t know what safety measures they use.
