Hi, I am thinking I ve got a hormone imbalance. I ve had symptoms for about 6 months now, but I feel they are getting worse. Recently I ve had trouble sleeping, and my ability to handle stress is so low. I get anxiety and depression and mood swings. I have irregular periods and my hands and feet are always cold. I was wondering if you d reccomend me having some tests done. I d really like some help with how I can deal with these symptoms because it s impacting on my university perfomance a great deal. I m 18 and not on the pill or any medication at all, and I have a relatively healthy diet and lifestyle.

I have lots of problems with my hormones since having my child a year ago. Had mirena coil, but felt angry tearful and irritable from it, so I have had copper coil fitted 8 weeks ago. Since then I have been leaking clear discharge and constantly have to wear pads, and now i am anxious constantly and feeling extremely down and depressed. Dont want to talk with anyone and dont want to get out. Just lost all motivation! I have no clue whats going on?? Feel so out of sorts, ancd tired and depressed. Also having chest pains, my left arm went completely numb and tingling and also face went numb too. Really worried. Feel I have completely lost the plot and dont know which way to go really. Got hair growing out my face and neck to which just lately has got worse. Really need advice
Looking for information on seizures. I do not believe I am epileptic so I am posting all information I think may help in finding out what is going on with me. I m a 36 yo female, my first seizure was when I was 34. I was checked by a neurologist who put me on Keppra but only for a few months until I had a CT scan and they found nothing wrong. I had another seizure this past Tuesday morning about 3:30am. I had been up all night with my sick child and finally decided to go to sleep about 3:00am which shortly after my husband came in to check on my daughter and I went into a seizure. I thought sleep deprivation and the stress of my child puking all over could have had a lot to do with it. I had felt fine the day of, same as the last time I had a seizure. I had been having a lot of stress going on the past few weeks. Epilepsy is not hereditary in my family, people have it but from a car accident and high fevers as a child. I have never had any serious head injuries, I drink sometimes but I haven t in months, I do not use any drugs or any medications other than Advil or Tylenol. I have been pretty healthy my entire life. I have done a lot of research on this subject and some of the things that I have thought of is possibly a hormonal imbalance. None of this happened until after I had my child. I had a super easy pregnancy, not even morning sickness. We have been trying to get pregnant again for 2 years and have been unsuccessful, even though the we got pregnant on the first try before. Both times I had seizures were at the start of my cycle. I have normal periods every 26-28 days lasting about 5 days. I have an appointment scheduled with the OBGYN to get tests done to see if my hormones are out of balance. Another thing I have looked into is teeth grinding. In high school I was diagnosed with TMJ, I wore a mouth guard for many years but I haven t worn it in years either. Ever since the last seizure I have been grinding my teeth so bad that I am chipping teeth. I never used to do it that bad. I plan on going to visit my dentist also and see if there is a bigger issue going on there also. What I am looking for is any information on non epileptic seizures. My neurologist jumped right to epilepsy and medication even though at that time this had never happened before. Any information you can provide would be greatly appreciated.
Hello, I am a 42 year old woman and I haven t had a menstrual cycle in going on 4 months. I m not pregnant (already tested plus tubes tied) oh yeah....haven t been sexually active for three years. I have also had numerous tested done to see if hormones are under control or if premenopausal none of the above. All tests and levels are normal. What can be the cause of not having my cycle and what is a suggested treatment?
I have been on prempro 0 .3/1.5 for ten years + and never had any problems. I recently have been diagnosed with subclinical Hyperthyroid. I have been working with my Doctor on regulating my dose of tapazole. For the past 10 days I have been having terrible night sweats. I wake drenched. I m irritable and can t sleep. I had an appointment scheduled to see my Doctor to get the latest results of my tsh and t4. I thought for sure that he was going to say I was hyperthyroid and we needed to adjust my dose of tapazole. Instead he said my labs were perfect (right were they should be). So he thought that it could be I needed a little higher dose of prempro. Now I am on 0.4/1.5. I am 65 yrs old. Have you ever increased estrogen dosage in someone my age and why all of a sudden menopausal symptoms after all these years? Thanks
I have severe, constant itdhing of the skin. Have been unable to determine the cause. Nothing has been changed in diet, laundry detergents, etc. The itching seems worse during the night, causing night sweats, dampness of undershirt. Dermatologist has given me AMMONONIUM LACTATE CREAM, 12% to use twice daily and it seems to burn when applied.
I am getting numerous skin tags and within the last 4-5 days they are beginning to come up my neck. It is almost like a brown rash with noticeable skin tags in the area. I am 69 years old and also started having very bad hot flashes which I had not had in years. Can they be connected?
Hi, I am 59 years old, still having vaginal bleeding and have had severe pain in my right breast for over a week. I don't have insurance so the thought of seeing a doctor or having test run is next to impossible. Is it anything to be worried about
I have recurring yeast infection. How do I know it's a yeast infection? I feel a need to go to the bathroom frequently. Sometime it burns. No didcharge and Monostat seems to take care of it but I don't like to take that frequently. it's probably...
