Welcome to Healthcare Magic
If you are having pain after so many years there must be ongoing damage. Osteoporosis will prevent proper healing as well. You may need additional help like bone graft which can heal any unhealed fractures. You need proper treatment for osteoporosis by supplements as advised by your Doctor. Eat a diet rich in calcium like pulses, soyabean, cereals, eggs, chicken, fresh fruits and green leafy vegetables. Drink enough water. Do mild exercise everyday which enhances bone health like brisk walking around 20 minutes a day. Be careful of falling, prevent accidents as much as possible. You will need pain killers for the pain. The thickened pleura may be removed if causing significant pain and/or restriction in lung function.
