I Have Fever In Pregnancy But Thermometer Doesnt Show It
Hi. Im 14 weeks pregnant and i have a cold and internal fever . But on my thermometer doesnt show. It says 36.6 but i feel very hot, my head is burning and also i started feeling fever in my stomach. What that could be?? What should i do?? I took 1 tylenol and i took i shower.

Hi,thanks for query.when thermometer is not showing fever you need to worry.What ever you are doing is fine.Take proper rest and more of liquids.Keep measuring fever and in case of trouble be careful.bye.

This is not fever , it is the raised metabolic rate during pregnancy which makes you feel like this, this is not supposed to be treated, by tylenol or by any other drug...
This is absolutely ok..Do not worry...you will gradually get adjusted to this increased metabolic rate...as pregnancy advances...just relax, sleep well, few slow and deep breaths and you will be comfortable.

Its very common to feel that you have fever and still the temperature is normal on thermometer.
Could be at times the thermometer is wrong , but majority of the times you may feel it but its not really there.
You can take a ceterizine tabelet for cold and wait for a day or two , keep checking temperature and if its high take tylenol too.
No need to worry for cold in pregnanacy.

Good query is this. During pregnancy hormonal changes will take place and at the same time metabolic rate will also be increased. During the process of exchanges body will get feel heat in side the body. In case thermometer show more than 98.4 degrees of foreign heat, than you should go to a doctor.
