I Have Extreme Pain In My Left Ear, How To Get Rid Of It ?

I need some insight!!! I have extreme pain in my left ear. I have no other symptoms. No fever, no cold, no tooth pain, no nothing! This is the second time in a month. The first time I took 600mg of Advil, used ice then heat and it went away. Now, (four weeks later) this pain is back and nothing helps! The pain crosses into my jaw and neck, and it also is starting to give me a headache! I am a 25 yr old male with no history of any major health problems!

I think you better consult a doctor for this rather then doing anything else.Sometimes the main cause of ear pain is not the ear but some other area of ear which is known as referral pain or referral discomfort. I am not sure if this is the case with you. One of my cousins had this. So I will suggest you better consult a doctor before it gets complicated.

I think , first rule out Impacted wax,Use some waxolve ear drops. If it is not relieved check with E.N.T. surgeon to rule out Furuncle,Acute otitis media,Blockache Auditory tube.if it O.K. then rule out Impacted wisdom tooth by Dentist.
