I Have Discomfort To Chest Area With A Noticeable Swelling Under Left Rib, What Is This ?

hi i have been unwell feeling with discomfort to chest area and a noticeable swelling under left rib for 4 weeks now, gp said chext clear - chest xray clear. During this time (last week) i HAVE NOW TAKEN A HEAVY COLD LIKE THING BRINGING LOTS OF PHELEGM UP AND CONSTANT COUGH AND NASAL CONGESTION . tHROUGHOUT ALL i AM CONTENDING WITH SEVERE OVULATION TYPE PAIN WHICH EXTENDS INTO MY LEGS...i AM CONSTANTKY EXHAUSTED AND HAVE NO APPETITE BUT DO FIND MYSELF CRAVING SUGARY FOODS. i AM BECOMING MORE SHORT OF BREATH . gP GAVE ME ANTIBIOTIC ON FRIDAY PAST AND i FEEL WORSE MORE THAN BETTER. wHAT IS WRONG WITH ME - i FEEL DREADFUL

hello,
it seems to be respiratory infection. but you mentioned your chest is clear.its bit contradictory. some routine blood investigations required.better to consult a good medicine specialist.he will do general physical examination.you should get evaluated for that swelling in chest. you may need pelvic ultrasound examination. but first take antibiotics provided bu your doctor for respiratory infection. wish u good recovery.

Thanks for query,
It seems that you might developed Pneumonitis causing all problem.
X ray taken initially may not reveal any pathology but now it may show.
Go for blood TC,DC,ESR,platelet count and X ray again.
Sweeling in your chest may be due to infection or costo chondritis.
Go for pelvic ultra sound to rule out any problem in your genital tract.
Consult physician and get clinically examined.
