I m a 13 year old boy. I did gymnastics for 8 years but stopped last summer and I m not that active anymore. I go to the gym about once or twice a week. Normally, I play on my laptop for a long time, sometimes 4-7 hours a day. :/. Sometimes, I get really bad chest pains in my heart. Tonight, I experienced the worst chest pain I ve had ever. It stung really badly and it felt as if something was stuck in my chest for a second. Also, last week when I was running with my friends, I experienced an awful chest pain where I doubled over and couldn t breathe. What should I do?
I have been having two types of chest pain lately. One in my upper chest area and the second right near my Xiphoid process. I m not sure if the 2 discomfort are connected somehow but it started happening roughly 7 weeks ago. I was tailgating for a football game, an all day event so to speak. I was eating and drinking not so healthy food and beverages. The next day I woke up with horrible chest pain. Since then it has developed into these different forms. I have been taking nexium on and off along with Tylenol and Tagamet for pain and GERD symptoms. I am a 24 year old male who goes to the gym and lifts heavier weight. Could the xiphoid process pain be muscular? Or am I having a really bad case of GERD? Alcohol seems to intensify the discomfort in my chest. I have yet to make a doctors appointment, hoping that it will just go away, however I do plan on making one for this week. Anything you can provide would be great. Thanks, Ronnie
Hi, I m dan, 21 yrs old, not obess, fit but not to the extent of a gym freak body. First let me mention that I experimented a little bit with being a vegan for 3 weeks, and I loved it, it was very pleasant to my bowl movement, until it threw my stomach off balance (I guess I didn t transition properly into to it, I went on all out fruit and vegs only). So lesson learned I went back to a secural or regular food habbits of a non vegan, but incorporating vegs like a normal person would. And lately I ve been having hard stool, and yesterday (in the evening), while doing my bowl movement (pushing) : I felt like a heat sensation on my right chest (2 inches away from the nipple) as if something was leaking through my right chest and it hurt. and this morning, while doing my bowl movement the same thing happened again. I ve never experience this before. As I go on about my day, going to classes, I feel this little warmth sensation (inflamation), when I try to do certain movement such as seat correctly chest forward and shoulders back the very same spot feels like a tingling sensation as if some one pad a cotton ball of alcohol on it. So is this a burst on my lung that would require surgery?, or should just take it easy and it just my digestive system system getting acustom to a secular diet? HELP!!!!!!!!
