I Have Bumps On Forearm. What They Might Be?

Hi. I have three bumps on my left forearm , a few inches below the elbow. They seem to have formed in a line, the smallest being closest to the elbow and the largest being about a third of the way down my forearm. They seem to raise like small hills. The bumps also only appear when I bend my elbow or flex my forearm. They aren t (and never have been) red, itchy, or at all painful. They don t seem to be above a vein, and they don t move (if I move the skin around them, they seem to be under the skin). If I press on them they just go flat and raise up again when I release, if I squeeze them they just seem to move into the skin. I m thinking they re on the muscle? Or perhaps part of the skin (though it s weird that they don t move)? I wouldn t know... I ve had them for quite some time, at least three years and probably more. I m just curious as to what they might be and if they re anything to worry about? I don t think they came about as a result of any sort of injury, or at least it s nothing that I can remember and there doesn t seem to be any scarring.

Hello,
Welcome to HealthcareMagic. From the symptoms they sound like lipomas. Lipoma is a benign tumor composed of fat cells. They are soft to the touch and are generally painless. They are harmless and nothing is to be done until they are causing pain or are unsightly.

Hope it helps you. Regards.
