I have been monitoring my bp mostly on my right

I have been monitoring my bp mostly on my right arm. It was 190/94 on my right and on my left 159/84. Is that normal? My doctor took me off of triamterne and raised my lisiniprol to 40mg (2 in am and 2 in pm) it’s been high for the past 3 weeks. I’ve been told to wait it out to see if it goes down but it hasn’t. I’m concerned.

My dad is on bp meds but this morning his first reading was 138/98 with the arm monitor. I took a reading with wrist cuff a minute after and it was 133/84. Then again with the arm monitor and got 136/88, then 118/85, 140/90 and 136/88. Should I be concerned about getting him to a doc right away?

recently my blood pressure has not responded to weight loss and exercise so the doctor placed me on 10mg lisinoprolthat went up to 20mg recently. However the side effects of night coughing, insomnia ,constant urinaton and dizziness meant a return to 10mg and 5mgamopropoline,i think that is the right spelling. Despite this i am still getting chest pain and dizzy spells. I have been told that blood pressure meds can be a hit or a miss until you get the right one. Can any of you relate or give advice.thx
