I have been hving muscle twitching in both of my arms in the upper arm. They are not painful but annoying. I' m talking about big twitches like the large muscle in the back of your arm. My doctor put me on potassium and 5 milligrams of cyclobenzaprine at night. But muscle twitching still occurring. Is my body trying to tell me something. I have had triple bypass surgery 20 years ago.

I am 20 years old and weigh 115. I have been experiencing some sort of muscle spasm/ contractions which look like mini seizures for almost 3 years now. The episodes start to take place in my foot and then shoot through my body to the point i have no control over what I am doing. The best way I can describe the feeling is an extremely uncomfortable, random, twitching, tingling, painful, miserable experience. It is mostly affecting the right side of my body. Although, both of my feet are very sensitive to touch regardless if the episode is happening or not.. They also are unbearably cold especially at night time. They used to happen especially while I was sleeping where I ve been told to be doing involuntary sit-ups and V-scrunches in agony. When awake I can not walk or move but only hold my leg with my hands while it has it s spasm . I have researched this for so long and there is nothing that fits my situation fully. I finally came up with the fact that seizures is what fits my description best. My neurologist gave me Carbamzepine which is a medication for patients with seizures. The episodes decreased don t occur nearly as often but they are still not 100% gone. I have had sleep tests, EEGs, blood tests, MRIS..You name it i ve had it but everything comes out like nothing is wrong with me….. What could this possibly be?????
