I have been having digestive problems for months - due to, I believe, too much alcohol. As of recently, the diarrhea is constant and I feel very unwell. Could this be signs of ARLD? I stopped drinking 4 days ago, am drinking lots of water to combat dehydration also taking Milk Thistle to help my liver.

My six month old daughter is sick and is passing stool with unusually frequency (3 to 4 times a day). Some non medical people including my mother has told me that she has tash: soar in the stomach which I understand is a common condition young babies suffer due to eating sweet or sugary food. She s drinking Lactogen 1 milk mixed with cereal. I am started giving her as medication metronidazole (flagyl) syrup but the toileting has not stopped. can you advice what s best I can give her for this condition.

I have been having digestive problems for over nine months now. It started when I got a stomach flu last november, and after that I just kept getting nauseous. I found I couldn t run, excercise, or even eat more than a certain amount, as I would start to feel like throwing up. I ended up losing a fair amount of weight. I finally went to the doctor and, upon an X-ray, was shown my gut was full of stool and gas. I was given some magnesium citrate, and from that day on, felt the problem lay with too much in my system. I periodically tried to cleanse myself, though not too often, as I was told using laxatives more than once a week can make your body dependent on them. I have seen multiple doctors. One perscriped Linzess, but I felt that didn t make me feel much better than the symptoms. Another perscribed Omeprazole, but I feel that makes me constipated, which increases the problem. Alltogether, it is very frustrating to wait a month to get into see a gastrenterologst, talk to them briefly, get perscribed some random medication, and then try and make another appointment, and have to wait a month. My mother is a nurse, and a practitioner of the paleo diet. I am not so strict, and have indulged in grains, especially in trying to experiment in what made me feel better or worse. Different things seem to cause problems rather chaotically. I ate a gluten-free pizza from Pizza Ranch once, with no issue. When I tried to again, I felt it caused great gas in my stomach, as I was belching to the point almost to vomiting. I felt my symptoms improved some with the use of a probiotic once a day. Since I ve run out of probiotics, I have been experiencing a resurgence of old symptoms. I have also been very constipated this week, possibly due to an omprazole I took. I tried an enema, something I ve done on occasion. However, this is my third in two weeks, adn I felt it really upset me this time. I m sitting here with more bloating, gas, heartburn, and all around lousy feeling. I m tired of feeling this way

I wake up with back and flank pain when I ve slept too long. I want to know what causes this. The pain wakes me up and sometimes is unbearable, but after urinating and moving around for some time, the pain subsides. Which means I have to get up and walk and also empty my bladder. In the morning, after I emptied my bladder my stomach looks flat. But if I eat or drink ANYTHING ... my stomach gets bloated and I look about 3 months pregnant. It even hurts to take in deep breaths sometimes!. I think my digestive system is week. This problem is more during (and before 5 days) periods. My body also getting obese due to this. (Height: 158 cm, Weight: 63Kg). Sometimes I am suffering with headache too. Sometimes I feel pain at back(below neck - if I work for more time with computer). Also suffering by cramps at night (especially during and before periods) or sitting more time with the same posture. I am taking medicine(Albendozole) for worms periodically once in six months. 2 months after having the pill no problem, again I suffer with itching and irritation of the anus due to worms. Note: I’m neat and the woman with very good habits.
