I Have Been Diagnosed With Hernia, Weird Symptoms, Please Advise

Hello I have been diagonsed with an umbilical hernia. It has been going on for 2 months now. Would this make my groin area cramp and be in pain? It makes it hard to walk most of the time.

when there is obstruction in the free flow of intestinal contents due to hernia intestinal colics will give rise to the symptoms as described
