I have anxiety, depression and also being a hypocondriact

ok so i have anxiety/depression/also being a hypocondriact... i am constantly alert like increased alertness everyday i find hard to live with as i jus want to switch of... i mentally make myself sick i throw up that much and gagging untill i throw up bale i have to see a psychiatrist soon i just hate the mental alertness that the hospital told me last night when i was hospitalised that its because of anxiety i have had anxiety for many years but its only recently that when i come out of a mental state (depression they say) i have been alert about being in my own body it terrifys me cause i think i will be like this for the rest of my life and dont know if i can handle that i take zoloft and yaz i guess the only question i want to know is can someone die from a mental illness like what i have i just cant stop thinking about it i have insomnia and i think the worst of it and think i have fatal insomnia i am scared to death please help!!

Please be reassured that people don't die just because of their mental illnesses directly.....but it is accepted fact that mental illness increases both mortality and morbidity IF UNTREATED.

Please do go back to your psychiatrist as he/she is best placed to help you.
