Hi Kristen, Welcome to HealthcareMagic Forum.
Do you have associated cough, fever or weight loss? Do you breast pain? May be it is a Enlarged Lymph Node. But it has to be examined by a Physician and a Gynecologist. Get your Chest and Breast examined to rule out any underlying Pathology.
If it is changing in size and shape, it may be sent for biopsy and you will be evaluated Further.

Small hard lump on neck if it is painful it can be a enlarged lymph node which is inflammed or infection or even a abscess in making .Since the neck muscles are also sore on that side it will be better if you get examined by a doctor to see what exactly it is and then get treated.Till then please take a pain killer to reduce the pain.
Welcome to health care magic
It appear to be an enlarged lymph nodes.if size is more than 1 cm it becomes significant.as you have not mentioned about pain.so it is considered as painless .Painless lymph nodes more than 1 cm in diameter always needs investigation by FNAC.

I am a 41 year old female. In December I received a cortisone shot in my shoulder. At about the same time I started having my period very frequently - i.e. for the last 4 months, I have had my period more often than not. The bleeding is usually not heavy, but definitely increases with heavy exercise. I have the Mirena IUD and usually don t get my period with it so that is especially weird. My pap smear was normal as was the endometrial biospsy. My doctor has given me a 2 week supply of low dosage estrogen but, thus far, that doesn t seem to help. Just recently I have noticed that I am easily bruising and now I have a hard lump on the left back side of my neck. Should I be concerned? Could all these things be related?
I am a fairly active, healthy 35 year old woman. I have noticed the left side of the back of my skull where it kindof sticks out on both sides seems harder and bigger than the right side. After a jog the other day, I noticed just below that about an inch on my neck, a small hard knot, under the skin, not noticable on teh exterior, not painful, does not move around, but it is definitely large enough to feel and find without much feeling around. I am concerned. What are some things this might be? Do you think it is imperative to see the doctor, or something that I need to watch?

They seem to appear out of nowhere. In the last few days, I ve started having intense, shooting pains, in the muscles near the lateral end of both clavicles. Any ideas as to what could be going on? Cause for concern, or should I just wait this out?
