Nasal Polyps can easily be cured with Homoeopathic Intervention. I can suggest you some Remedies, if you explain a bit more of your symptoms in detail. Surgery is not at all needed.

ENT Specialist Dr. Sumit Bhatti's  Response
1. Go ahead with your CT PNS (Para Nasal Sinuses) Scan. It should be a plain scan with 1mm coronal, axial and sagittal cuts, preferably on a Multislice Scan Machine. Contrast should be used only if necessary.
2. Is your nasal blockage one sided or on both sides. Before asking for your scan, your doctor must have examined your nose. What were the clinical findings? If no polyps were actually seen, it might be a good idea to do a pre and post de-congestion scan using xylometazoline (Otrivin) nasal drops.
3. Polyps require surgery at some point in time. In India it would cost between 15,000 to 60,000 rupees depending on the type of room and hospital. This amount will not cover incidental expenses and extra cost in the event of complications.

have been suffering from nose blockage and shortness of breath since 18 months. One thing I observed is that only one nostril gets blocked and if I sleep on one side then the side which is at floor that side nostril gets blocked and when i turn over the other side gets blocked. Also whenever I through out mucus by coughing or any other means I feel better. Shortness of breath problem always there even my both nostrils are cliar. I had CT scan and doctor told me that I have Deviated Nasal Septum but that is from childhood and every other thing is clear. Allergist who performed skin test told me I have dust mite allergy and reactive Airway Decease . I have taken enough care to avoid dust mite . IgE level Stands at 300 while Lab range is 10-340. Also I have pain in my right ear only. Only a tablet of ambroxol hydrochloride gives me complete relief from shortness of breath and nose blockage. What should I do ? CT Scan reports WWW.WWWW.WW

I am 67 years old, measuring 173 cm and weighing 85kg. After the death of my wife 6 months ago, I got a medium level depression (which I am treating with a daily intake of 1mg vitamin B12). I went to Morocco for work to change my mind. After about 6 weeks I got the flu there. Two brilliant local doctors confirmed to me that I had to take immediately an antibiotic because I supposedly had a pneumonia. I did it and promptly lost about 12kg in about one week, for lack of food intake possibility due to a totally blocked colon and suddenly strong stomach cramps and breathing problems. I returned quickly to Sweden where the emergency Dr. detected immediately asthma generated by a virus. I have managed to get completely rid of the asthma in the lungs since then. Now for the last 6 weeks about, my nose suffers from a strange problem. The problem started with a very strong liquid (non salty tasting) mucus discharge, followed by a total nose blockade. I tried Otrivin and similar products and Claritine with almost no effect. When coming home my nose is usually ok for the first 30 minutes. Afterwards the nose starts plugging until a total block of both nostrils. No mucus is running. When I take the car to go to the nearest shopping mall, my two nostrils open up again slowly over a period of about 30 minutes and become totally normal again in the mall. Returning home, my problem starts again. What is my problem? I am thinking of a birch wood allergy, since 70% of my furniture is made of birch.

My husband has genital herpes and was recently diagnosed with colon cancer. He received 1 treatment of chemotherapy and has run a fever everyday for about 2 weeks. About five days after his treatment he noticed discomfort of the scrotum. It was red on both sides and had areas of what appeared to be pus filled lesions. Could this be a side effect of the chemo or is this an outbreak. He is taking valtrex and applying a cream. It seems to be improving slowly. Should he tell his oncologist about the herpes. Will it effect his treatments and does chemotherapy increase the severity of outbreaks.

Hi! Last June I had a perianal abcess, drained and packed. 4 weeks later it healed. A week after it healed I went to hospital feeling generally very unwell, I also had stomach cramps, high temprature, constipation, feeling faint and I had lost 2 stone in weight. I was addmited to hospital, the next day I had a CT scan. The scan showed that my bowel was very inflamed, and that the lymph nodes in my abdoman were enlarged aswell. The consultant thought it may be Crohn's. A few days later it was decided that I should have a sigmoidoscopy. Before the sigmoidoscopy the consultant came and asked me about my sexuality, Im gay. He suggested that it could be a sexual transmitted infection, (LGV). Even though I didn't think it was a sti, as I know what I have and have not done, which I did explain.

The sigmoidoscopy showed colitis and proctitis. The consultant wanted me to have test done to see if it was a sti and I was perscribed 3 weeks course of doxcycline, I was discharged from hospital.

Two weeks later I went to get the results of my sti tests, all came back negitive. I hadn't felt any improvment, but instead of having constapation I was now having Diahorrea up to 10 times a day. I also started getting alot of noise from my stomach (gurgling noises).

The consultant sent me for a colonoscopy and gastroscopy. The colonoscopy still showed signs of inflamation but not as bad as when I was in hospital. The gastroscopy biopsi showed that I had helicobactor. So I was perscribed treatment for this. The consultant then sent me for a MR scan, it showed my lymph nodes in abdoman had reduced and also the bowel inflamation had reduced.

At this moment in time I still don't feel any major improvment. Im still getting stomach cramps, diahorrea has gone down to 2 to 3 times a day (diahorrea now since last August), and on a few occasions I feel faint and a bit 'out of it'. By the way I have put the 2 stone in weight back on.

My consultant has been very good at getting me tests ect, but I still have no diagnosis or idea what it is. I would be gratful for any advice you have. Thanks
