What Causes Sudden Intermittent Pain In The Groin Area?

I have a pain in my lower right groin area just where the leg folds. It is not there all the time. There are days I don t notice it at all and other times it will ache and then go away. I have had this for several years but the pain comes more often. My doctor has checked the area and he does not feel anything.

Hi,

You can have repeated muscular strain due to an unaccustomed position. For that you can take analgesic to get relief from pain. I suggest you, however, to investigate with local part X-ray or ultrasonography to check if any lesion present.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
