hi
Greetings from health care magic
It could be a sebaceous cyst and perhaps it has been infected and the pain and red ness due to inflammation . please consult to your surgeon and get it operated.
thank you
General & Family Physician Dr. Tina Jacob Das's  Response
Hello there
Thank you for choosing HealthcareMagic. A large bump on the forehead and that too painfull, sounds more like a furuncle/ boil, a hair root infection. Else it could be a sebaceous cyst, a dermoid cyst, a neurofibromatosis or any other neurogenic one. Better consult with a surgeon, as it needs to be seen. Take care.
