I have a hard time breathing. It is like I have to yawn but I cannot yawn

Hey, at random times, it is VERY hard for me to breathe I m almost gasping for breath but I still have enough to keep me going but it is still very uncomfortable. It s like I have to yawn but I cannot yawn. In times past after I have been able to yawn I have been fine. Does anyone know how to get a yawn out? *If this help any I have Tourettes Syndrome and yawning is a tic of mine but that s to yawn repeatedly. If this relates to anything, I m 18, male, about 6 1 and roughly 210 pounds.

Its called Air hunger.
Air hunger may be caused by insufficient pulmonary minute ventilation, a sustained breath-hold constriction of the alveoli of the lungs, as in asthma, or high ambient levels of carbon dioxide in the air.
So, considering ur age and good fitness and proportionate weight the serious heart and lung problems are ruld out .
next possible cause could b part of ur taurette synd , i mean a of psychological origin.
Nothing to worry , try these it wl improve .u can consult a psychiatrist or a psychologist they wl definitely help u .
Here is a small list of things that can help u.
Going out on a walk.
Praying and using visualization.
Walking and praying at the same time.
Getting involved in something that takes my mind off of ur circumstances.
anything that is calming and/or brings a feeling of happiness and relief may help u feel better. Maybe this is why most of us do not seem to have any issues while we are sleeping since our minds and bodies are calm and at peace. Perhaps our breathing normalizes itself while we are sleeping.

I m 14 years old and for the past 3 weeks or so I feel like I m not getting enough oxygen when I breathe. It happens pretty much for the entire day. I know it s not shortness of breath, and I have been relatively healthy for my entire life. I m yawning constantly even though I m not tired, and my nose isn t congested or anything. I ve done a little research and most of what I find says that I must have anxiety. HELP PLEASE!!!
